Positive input, Negative input. The positive and negative inputs of the CyberAmp can be set either
to DC, GND, or AC, for direct coupling, grounding, or AC coupling, respectively. If set to AC
coupling, the high-pass AC filter setting is taken from the following row, AC cutoff (Hz).
Copy rows and columns. With the Copy rows command, copy the value in the current cell to all
other cells in its row. This is used to set a function on all channels to the same value. With the Copy
columns command, configure all other channels as the present channel.
Pre-filter gain and Output gain. It is possible to maximize the signal to noise ratio of a CyberAmp
channel by independently manipulating the pre-filter gain and the output gain. The total gain is also
displayed, and this cell may be directly changed.
Return to the main menu by the keystroke <Esc>. The following features supplement the functions
available on the spreadsheet.
File... brings up a menu used to save and retrieve a complete CyberAmp configuration. If a
CyberAmp is used for different experiments, save CyberAmp settings for each use as a named file
that can later be retrieved using the Open command. Settings files have the extension
.300.
Exit
the program with this option.
SetValues... evokes the spreadsheet.
AutoZero... zeros specified channels. List a series of channels to be zeroed, and these channels are
automatically zeroed each time AutoZero is evoked.
ElectrodeTest... turns on a 1 µA square wave on each channel input. The signal is used to determine
the resistance of connected electrodes.
NotchTest... is used to test the efficacy of the notch filter and, if necessary, tune it to the local AC
line frequency.
ProbeInfo... allows one to read from and write to any SmartProbe attached to the CyberAmp. It is
useful both in setting up and recalibrating SmartProbes.
Connections... is used to set up the communications port and device identity of an attached
CyberAmp.
