3) The Status Scanning Rate section controls the number of times per second that the

overload status of the CyberAmp amplifier is polled. In addition, every ten cycles, the

CyberControl program will determine the entire status of the CyberAmp amplifier,

including the identity of the SmartProbe probes. This is a time-consuming operation,

and for slower computers, this rate should be decreased to leave more time for other

applications. Polling can be turned off if it produces artifacts in the analog signal

processing due to beat noise interference. When the CyberControl program is in the

background, it will perform overload polling at one half the listed value. Clicking OK

will change the settings and save them. The next time that the applications starts up,

these communication values will be used.

Help

PC: The Help button provides on-line information about the CyberControl commands and

buttons. Context sensitive help is also available through the Help buttons in dialogs.

Macintosh: To view the Help, go to the Apple menu and select the Help option, or press the Help

key. To select topics for help, click on the title near the top of the Help window. Select

the desired topic from the list, click on it, and the help will appear in the window. Or,

whenever a change is made to a field, or if a column title is double-clicked, context

sensitive help will appear in the Help window.
